We hope you enjoy browsing the images displayed here from around the world, and particularly from Simon’s home region of Northumberland in the far north of England, a beautiful and unspoiled area which includes Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site, Northumberland National Park, and two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty – the Northumberland Coast and the North Pennines.
Simon Fraser
Simon Fraser has been a professional photographer since 1986, specialising in science, landscape, nature and the environment. He started photographing climbs and travels around the world, especially the Himalayas, during the 1970s, and then spent two years in Antarctica, as a mountain safety guide with the British Antarctic Survey 1981-84. He has worked on a diverse range of assignments in many countries, from volcanic eruptions to climate change, icebergs to rain forests, stem cells to honeybees. Since 2005 he has published a range of high quality cards, prints and calendars.
Photo Prints
A growing range of photo prints are now available. There are two different formats: large prints on archival quality fine art paper; and smaller prints on archive matte paper which are supplied in a professional mount, ready to frame.
